In the morning hours approx. 50 activists of EXTINCTION REBELLION (XR) protested in front of the headquarters of Bayer AG in Berlin. The also blocked the street in front for a short time. In speeches they condemned Bayer’s involvement in the production of herbicides, pesticides and fungicides, that lead to the extinction of many species and are damaging the eco-systems in the areas where they are used. They are selling products that are forbidden in the EU in other parts of the world.
