17-year-old Dilan Sözeri was attacked by several adults at a tram station, racially insulted, and brutally beaten. Now she is holding a speech on a rally against racism in Berlin. She uploaded a video before that got nearly 9 million views on Instagram, where she described the attack, which took place on February 5, 2022. She started her video with the words, I was beaten, because I’m a foreigner.
