Protesters gathered at a rally in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on October 2, 2022. Police cordoned off the area and were present with very high numbers of police forces. The rally was primarily about the exclusion and discrimination of people of Russian origin in Germany. At the beginning of the rally, the Russian national anthem was played and protesters waved Russian flags and held up signs. The participants made it clear that they are against NATO and also against arms deliveries to Ukraine. During a loud speech, one protester clarified and shouted that Russia had never invaded Ukraine. Furthermore, the protesters mentioned in numerous speeches that Germany would support the fascists in Ukraine. Everything would be a proxy war led be the US. The protesters called the media an enemy, saying they were responsible for incitement against Russians.
