A bicycle demonstration to fight for better representation and recognition of the existence of Black people as a relevant part of German society took place on June 26, 2022. The bicycle protest started at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. The movement Zewdi, who established the rally, told in a press release that the message would be to remind society that the black community will not let everyday racism take away their joy in life and that Berlin can be a welcoming place for black people.
