Speakers at the protest discussed using algorithms to target and censor content, citing examples of posts being removed without explanation. Some protesters speculated that the Russian government might be involved in the censorship, while others pointed to the use of shadowbans as a potential cause. In addition, the protesters expressed frustration at the difficulty of contacting Meta Platforms directly and voiced concern that blocking Ukrainian content would lead to the world forgetting about the situation in Ukraine.
